* good location and great link to the city centre and other places via public transport * nice and helpful staff at the reception * room 603 and bathroom ok * nice breakfast * nice sauna * good sharing area: lounge and kitchen

* very noisy place. I can accept the street noise but NOT guests! Some people shouldn't leave their homes. Beat the drums or play the guitar about midnight! I didn't sleep well during my stay. * The reception is open until 22:00 so you can't report the noise etc. to them * 4 nights stay and no housekeeping service at all

It's a decent place for a 1-2 nights stay.

They insist on checking the data of your payment card upon arrival, even if you have already paid online. That's really suspicious and quite unusual practice in Finland.

What was the highlight of Töölö Towers

Practical, affordable, comfortable. Easy to make your own food. Great sauna. Nice location.

Everything you need, really. Comfortable bed, practical desk & shelf setup as well as wardrobe for clothes and a small refrigerator. The bathroom had an interesting heating element to dry things which I made use of. The communal kitchen at the end of the hallway was well-enough stocked (these things always have a weird collection of somewhat blunt knives in odd sizes but otherwise what you need. There's maybe 6 grocery stores in a roughly 1 km range, including two Aleppa's (more affordable than the k-market). Very quick to the park and walking path. There's two towers, A and B. In the A tower, the Saunas (gender-segregated) are in the 11th floor and cozy, 2-3 people could fit and this means they get really hot really fast. Had two amazing Sauna-visits while there. The breakfast was good and also had a nice selection of gluten-free things (Muesli, porridge, etc)

I found the room a bit stuffy and I kept the windows open when I was in but I would not want to book this size room if it were really hot. One day, someone made a big mess in the communal kitchen. This happens, I guess, just disappointing and not something the hotel could do much about. I would have liked allergy labels or ingredient lists on the food. I guessed the "four grain porridge" included wheat. The location for coming back late at night from the center of town was not the best -- the trams that go to the very close stop seem not to run late and no bus runs east/west along the street. Just something to be aware of about the location, needed to jog over from the stop at the far end of the street, only worth mentioning because it was quite cold. My room was on a corner and right above the street. In the future, I'd ask if I could be on a higher floor because of the noise (not terrible, I'm just sensitive to it).

Fine hotel

Fine easy hotel which feels like a student housing. Shower was good, bed was decent and room size is okay. Breakfast has quite some choices so pretty good. Arriving late at night is no problem since you get a code to get in and retrieve your key by a machine. Very clear instructions on this.

It's nor the most luxurious but okay for 1 or 2 nights. However there is no AC so room was really hot which is not reduced easily by opening a window.

Nice and convenient

Located in a good area on ~25 mins walk or ~ 5 mins by tram from Helsinki Railway Station. The tram stop is just on the street in front of the buildings. Easy late-self-check-in after midnight. The instructions I got were clear and punctual. The room itself was ok, with perfect Wi-Fi and heating system. Polite reception desk. Breakfast is basic but offers quality products. Free sauna. A leisure area with some decent view on the top floor.

I believe, the housekeeping staff might be more thorough in the cleaning process of the rooms.

I have stayed here many times whenever I have visited Helsinki. Breakfast was great as always. They had extra desserts for Easter time. Staff is always friendly. Location has always been convenient for me.

Comfortable, good value for money, tasty breakfast, comfortable beds. Early check in !

I booked twice at Töölö, first a room for myself and then a an apartment to share with my partner who arrived later. Early check-in was possible both times, and this was super helpful as I could seamlessly transfer from the small room to the new room. The bed was comfortable, lots of storage and a kitchenette with what you need. Unlike the small single-bed room I first had, this one was not stuffy and felt well ventilated. Didn't use the Sauna in this tower (B tower) but went to take a look. You walk briefly through a super well-lit basement-area to get to some nice seating with a high window and then to the saunas, so there's light and it's quite airy for something in a "basement". They are much bigger than the saunas in the A tower, you could easily fit 15+ people in the sauna.

The heating stopped working in the sofa-kitchenette room, but that was ok, the heater in our room sufficed. The heating-element dryer thing in the bathroom didn't work, but that wasn't crucial The layout of the storage was a bit odd, compared to the single-room.

It was -20 in Helsinki and it was very nice came warm and cozy hotel.

The breakfast was good. The tunnel from tower A to tower B was fascinating :) The room was enough for one and cozy.

I would like to have more signs during the way in the tunnel (it is easy to get lost). Maybe a higher border in a shower

Tourist that noticed

The apartments were nice and were equipped with all the necessary needs.. Location is perfect - not too far, not too close. Also has some cool views. Maybe you will even spot Helsinki very own Eiffel Tower. Pocket friendly.

Breakfast was meh, and I found some things that were not supposed to be there (eggshells, hair). Breakfast staff is not very joyful and some mornings even aggressive..(pushing the chairs under the table with such a force) i mean for a tourist, it definitely will set a tone. Cleaning once a week is not ideal for staying 7 days.. but survivable. There are a lot of unnecessary doors and locks for the whole building. You can definitely hear the guests and cleaners 24/7, yes, even when it's quiet hours.
